SAS valley is located in district Nagar opposite to Hunza river since Hunza and Nagar both are famous for their tourist attractions, however there are various potential tourist spots in sumayar nagar which are to be promote to develop them as a whole in unique tourism destination.

In this regard sumayar valley has potential for tourist attraction and activities incorporation. Meanwhile community in collaboration with tourism department of GB are now developing a plan for the development of the region from their end, however did not propose the activities that can be incorporated. Another potential activity includes extraction of precious stones from chumar bakor. while interviewing the community stake holders they admit the presence of gold and uranium around the meadows most probably near xilkiyan according to survey conducted by atomic energy commission Pakistan..

The potential attractions include mumubar, haiyano meadow, and the two peaks above them diran and xilkiyan, chumar bakor, historical footprints and sites. Furthermore, Chumar bakor is itself attraction due to high altitude trek and mining activities associated to it. the Hayno meadow is at 20-25 min drive from mumubar camping site and mumubar camping site is at 7-10 min drive from sumayar link road. The community perception is optimistic for tourism development in the region, since while interviewing the community and notables of the region they show their optimistic behavior however they are looking forward for the government and other investors to assist the project for tourism development in the region.

In this regard a feasibility analysis and swot analysis is needed to incorporate various destination model and work for the tourism development for future by considering the report. Furthermore, this analysis will assist us to know about the strengths and weaknesses of the region to develop implementable approach towards tourism development.
